Often we get angry because we feel that it is the only way to get our point across and get the outcome we desire. By adjusting your expectations it will help prevent the anger. Sometimes you just need to let go. Finally, the last step is retreating and thinking things over. Sometimes you need to remove yourself from a situation and take time to think about it. By doing this you are giving yourself time to calm down, as well as time to look at the situation differently. These are all important steps in learning how to control your anger.
